Aloha, Friend:

The truth is finally known--I'm not a very good politician. But then I never tried to be. I thought speaking the truth and not being afraid to say 'no' to people that wanted money or favors was the proper thing to do. The last six years have been quite an experience for which I am very grateful. I am most thankful for your friendship. My regrets are for all of you that have worked so hard for my re-election. I am truly overwhelmed by your efforts. We came close in a district that was never '"Republican". You can all hold your head up high for the commitment and efforts you expended on my behalf. Life goes on. I am now unemployed and am looking for suggestions on how to best utilize my energies for the greater benefit of our community. Please give me your thoughts.
